The debate between film school and no film school is a hotly contested one.  My journey never allowed for this question so I feel a little ill equipped to answer it so instead I’m offering you the opinion of great filmmakers like Martin Scorsese, Spike Lee, Sriram Raghavan etc who have been to film school versus the opinion of filmmakers like Ava Duverny, Anurag Kashyap, Vikram Motwane, Abhishek Chaubey etc who haven’t gone to film school. This is a subjective question and depends entirely on your personal circumstances so my opinion would be listen to each of these filmmakers  and  then decide for yourself.
